In a monumental step towards fostering stronger bilateral ties and enhancing socio-economic cooperation between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Benin, the Advocacy Group for the Establishment of the Nigeria-Benin Permanent Joint Commission spearheaded a landmark meeting in Porto Novo, the capital of Benin Republic. The meeting, attended by representatives from both countries, aimed to establish a structured platform for strategic reflection and dynamic cooperation.

In a significant stride towards strengthening diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Benin Republic, the Advocacy Group for the Establishment of the Nigeria-Benin Permanent Joint Commission, led by National Steering Committee Chairman of the Advocacy Group Ambassador Oguntuase Kayode, held a pivotal meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the session, Ambassador Oguntuase, underscored the urgent need for formalizing relations through the establishment of a Permanent Joint Commission.
